This public observation tower atop Zurich's Pfannenstiel was originally built on the Bachtel mountain nearby. In 1992 the tower was relocated to the Hochwacht area on today's location. The tower is 35 meter high, sports 8 platforms and you have to climb 174 steps to reach the top. Here you have a great view of the Greater Zurich Area, Lake of Zurich, Greifensee and the Swiss Alps.
