Kevin Koolguy is back in this sequel to the original "State Of Shock"! With the passage of time he's found himself able to fine-tune the use of his special psychic powers with precision to make his life easier. However, along the way he somehow lost track of the special Zumethystic Crystal that gave him his powers... In another part of town, good friends Marc Mann and Erik Erickson are having a playful snowball fight. Their friend Jeremy Jones is walking by and is about to ask if he can join in the fun when Erik discovers the mysterious Crystal in the snow... Jeremy watches from behind a shrub as both Marc and Erik succumb to the vibrating energy of the powerful Crystal. Krissy Kutie arrives at Kevin's place so they can help each other with their schoolwork. He's been waiting for the perfect moment to ask her to be his steady girl, and surprises her with a lovely Promise Ring! A groggy Marc and Erik rouse themselves from their daze and make their way to their respective homes. While making lunch Marc discovers his new telekinetic powers by causing a butcher knife to fly across the room into his hand... but he accidentally catches it by the blade and cuts himself very badly. However, he also discovers that he has the power to heal himself instantly as well! Erik, too, has discovered his telekinesis and the two friends call each other to share their good news! Meanwhile, Kevin has made the mistake of telling Krissy that she appears to be putting on weight, which provokes an angry quarrel that ends with Krissy storming out after Kevin tries to use his powers to restrain her. Upon leaving, Krissy happens to run into Marc out for a winter jog and they strike a friendly chat, taking a leisurely stroll together and enjoying the winter weather. As they head back to Marc's place for a late lunch, they fail to notice Kevin spying on them from behind a snowbank. Blissfully unaware of the danger, they enjoy an innocent afternoon together... After having had a chance to cool off and think things over, Krissy visits Kevin again to try and patch things up. He gives her a very cold shoulder until she presses him, and he admits he saw her and Marc walking together. She tries to explain that she and Marc are just friends, but Kevin's imagination has been working overtime, and he believes that Krissy has cheated on him and his Promise Ring with Marc. Stung by his accusations and fed up, Krissy is tired of Kevin's sexist antics and leaves. Enraged, Kevin tries to blow off some steam by using a newfound power.... pyrokinesis! He does not realize that Jeremy Jones is nearby and a casual witness to the fiery display of his power. Unsatisfied, Kevin finds Marc and Erik, and picks a fight that leaves Marc battered and bloody. With time on his hands, Kevin begins to regret his actions and has an emotional breakdown. Krissy is also pensive, but is determined to stick by her decision to leave Kevin for her new friend Marc. Kevin goes out for a walk to try and clear his head, and is attacked by Marc and Erik, both of whom have gotten stronger and more proficient in using their psionic powers... meanwhile, Jeremy is searching for The Crystal so he can become as powerful as the others, and suffers the same vibration and loss-of-consciousness. Once he shakes off the effect, he finds a troubled Krissy passing by and coerces her into walking with him by using mental domination. Kevin, Marc and Erik witness Jeremy and Krissy's disturbing interaction, and they stop fighting to unite their powers against Jeremy, nearly killing him with the force of their combined psychic energy. Krissy, now in her right mind, saves Jeremy from almost certain doom at the hands of the other three, appealing for them to put their differences behind them, and everyone rediscovers the joys of their friendship together... ...and then Krissy finds The Zumethystic Crystal!...
