Without further ado, here are facts about Citibank Building just in time for 4th of July Independence Day Holiday on Monday, 7/4/2022: 1. Nicknames = Citigroup Building & One Court Square. 2. A tall skyscraper standing as a 673 feet tall because this cool office tower was completed since 1990 the year it opened by a company for Citigroup known as Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill. 3. Queens's tallest skyscraper from its cool completion after topping out of the Skyline Tower since 2019. 4. Has 50 floors. 5. This skyscraper in Queens is near Court Square, LaGuardia Community College, Silvercup Studios, Pulaski 🌉 by B62 🚍, & Queensboro 🌉 right by Queensboro Plaza. 6. Floor Area = 1,401,630 square feet. 7. Distinguished from Citicorp Building in other words Citigroup Center, which is across the street at 399 Park Avenue because it is Citigroup's former main headquarters & the skyscrapers are 1 stop away from E & M train's Lexington Avenue- 53rd Street in Manhattan for Citicorp Building in other words Citigroup Center while in Queens, Citibank Building at Court Square- 23rd Street in the next station in the East. 8. Since 2005, the skyscraper was sold by Citigroup. 9. Since 2012, Joel Schreiber & David Werner who are Brooklyn real estate investors purchased Citibank Building for $481 million dollars from Stephen L. Green's SL Green & JPMorgan Asset Management. 10. Since 2020, the Citi logo was removed from the skyscraper & substituted with a logo from a telecommunications company known as Altice USA, which is a tenant. 11. Since 2017, Citibank Building housed its headquarters of Altice located on its top floors. 12. Since 2018, this skyscraper was chosen for providing up to 25 floors to Amazon as part of one of its 3 Amazon HQ2 locations. However, New York City's Amazon HQ2 location was later cancelled. 13. WNYZ-LD was known for Voice of New York Radio Korea because it broadcast on top of Citibank Building along with has various low power television stations in history.
