From Bronx Zoo's Wild Asia Monorail during 3rd visit to Bronx Zoo throughout 2019 since Sunday, Jun. 23, 2019. 1st Fact = Black Buck Antelope: 1. Nickname = Indian Antelope. 2. Antelope in the deer family from India, Pakistan, & Nepal in Asia. 3. Eats short to mid-length grasses & common brush species as herbivores. 4. Scientific Name = Antilope Cervicapra. 5. Baby = Fawns. 6. Group = Herds just like Einiosaurus from the Cretaceous time period. 7. Females don't have long & ringed horns but males do for defense not just showing off. 8. Cousin of the Gazelle. 9. Lives up to 10 to 15 years old typically. 10. Runs fast like Gallimimus to avoid predators. 11.
