"YOU'RE A GRAND OLD RAG" by Billy Murray; Edison # 9256. Recorded and released in 1906. This was from George M. Cohan's Broadway play "George Washington, Jr." (1905) Apparently, there was a public outcry to the use of "rag" referring to the American flag, so there was a recall of this cylinder. It was re-released on Edison 2M with the same # but was titled "YOU'RE A GRAND OLD FLAG" later that year. This version is the earlier, offensive "rag" version.
