Late season Concord Grapes are deliciously sweet and tend to lack much of the sour qualities of earlier season grapes. Nothing beats the aroma of Concord Grapes mixed with crackling Autumn leaves. I got to these grapes before the frost it, so they hadn't shriveled up yet and were still quite edible. Ephraim Wales Bull created the Concord Grape breed around 1949 in, of all places, Concord, MA.
