After defending the Valley of Peace from Jade zombies. The team learns through research that Bunnymund and Kazar were once brothers-in-arms and very close friends. After Bunnymund was injured in battle, Kazar carried him to a village of sharks who healed him with their mastery of chi. The sharks then taught Bunnymund how to utilize chi to help others. However, Kazar wanted the power for himself and tried to steal the sharks' chi, forcing Bunnymund to banish him to the spirit realm by ending his life.
