This weekend was the 21st annual West of England Game Fair which promises to deliver the 'ultimate countryside experience'. The family-friendly event took place at the Bath & West Showground in Somerset over the weekend. A spokesman for the event said: 'Not only does the West of England Game Fair entertain but it provides a platform for countryside traditions to be promoted and supported. 'This is certainly a total countryside experience for all the family and a great day out! 'It has a very varied countryside theme with a variety of have-a-go activities, displays and countryside shopping. 'It's the ultimate countryside experience for all the family'. As well as an array of dog-centred events including a gundog parade the fair boasted a display of vintage tractors, clay shooting, ferret racing, and a falconry demonstration. There was also a host of have-a-go events including archery, animal calls and blacksmithing.
