Botany Bay Plantation Heritage Preserve/Wildlife Management Area is a state preserve on Edisto Island, South Carolina. Botany Bay Plantation was formed in the 1930s from the merger of the Colonial-era Sea Cloud Plantation and Bleak Hall Plantation, the biggest attraction in this heritage preserve is the wild and unspoiled beach known as Driftwood beach, covered with seashells and old growth trees, a truly amazing sight. Edisto beach State park is a sanctuary for wildlife and there were so many loggerhead turtles nest all along the sandy beaches and dunes.
