They didn't even know that the Sherwood Brut would stream air bubbles out of one of the ports and kept looking for the leak unsuccessfully. Many of their kits has US Diver regs that are technically unservicable. Some of these tanks were over 40 years old and had J-Valves on them. One student didn't know her tank was full at 2,250psi. Ditching a 25lb weight belt will guarantee an out of control ascent. I bought my first weight-integrated BCD was in 2006.
