I was hoping for a repeat performance of last year's spectacular light show resulting from the launch of a Spacex Falcon 9 rocket in the twilight minutes before sun-up, but it just wasn't in the cards. The event was less than spectacular, but interesting none the less. This portion of the raw footage shows how the launch looked from Santa Clarita, California - over 100 miles away.
