Ninja was streaming with SypherPK and they both agreed that the skill based matchmaking debate shouldn’t be completely black and white. While having some core playlists include skill based matchmaking while others not is a step in the right direction, maybe there’s a better solution Ninja thinks that a “softer” skill based matchmaking system is what Epic needs to implement to find that perfect balance As it stands right now, any decent player can absolutely roll any Squad game. Half the people you go up against are literally free kills due to the abundance of AI robots
