The story is about a wise old man who arrived in a distant village with his eagle companion. Despite his fame for great teachings, the wise man remained humble and often rested with his eagle in an abandoned barn. As time passed, the villagers offered food and shelter to the wise man and the eagle. One night, a peasant approached them and asked how to open the doors to heaven and close the doors to hell. The wise man responded with a seemingly harsh comment, but it was only to teach the peasant a lesson about anger and compassion.
