Review of Mercedes-Benz CLS CLS is available in a single CLS 300 d variant only, priced at Rs 84 Lakhs and 70 Thousand (ex-showroom pan-India). Mercedes-Benz CLS is more in line with the company's current design language. It gets a more aggressive face and the longer bonnet looks imposing now. The new LED DRLs and the slimmer grille draw inspiration from the AMG GT Coupe. The CLS still comes with the swooping coupe-like roofline that extends into the fastback boot lid. Mercedes-Benz has CLS's split tail-lights, rear bumper reflectors, registration plate location at the rear and the logo at the centre of the boot-lid are design elements shared with all coupe models. You can't help but notice the new tail lamps too which are slightly different, however, the pronounced shoulder line blends well into the flat rear end of the car and that's very typically a CLS. The cabin takes inspiration the E and S-Class with a dual 12.3-inch display for the driver's instruments and infotainment system dominating the dashboard while the turbine-like air vents, along with lashings of leather, wood and metal up the luxury quotient on the car. It is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 245PS/500Nm with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes-Benz claims that the CLS can go from 0-100kmph in 6.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 250kmph. Features Of this CLS includes 7 airbags, brake assist system, multi-beam LED headlamps, air suspension, touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel, a Burmester sound system and 64-colour ambient lighting system Currently, the new CLS doesn't have any rivals in the Indian market since Audi discontinued the A7 in India a few years back.
