Sithonia, das ist der mittlere „Finger“ auf Griechenlands Halbinsel Chalkidiki im Süden von Thessaloniki. Für uns ist es mittlerweile das 2. Mal in Süd Thessaloniki und bestimmt nicht das letzte mal. Sithonia bietet ein abwechslungsreiches Terrain für einen sportlichen Urlaub. Egal ob Mountainbiker und Wanderer – eine willkommene Einladung Gipfel zu erklimmen und Ausblicke zu genießen gibt es im Urlaub auf Sithonia auf jeden Fall! Unsere Empfehlung ist, mietet ein Boot und fahrt zur Insel Diaporos Island. Dort werdet Ihr mit Sicherheit einiges zu sehen bekommen und für traumhafte Strände ist übrigens gesorgt. Für die drei Halbinseln wird im Griechischen übrigens nicht der Begriff „Finger“, sondern „Fuß“ verwendet. Und aus der griechischen Mythologie abgeleitet wird die Region der Dreizack Poseidons genannt. Wie auch immer man die einmalige Landschaftsform bezeichnen möchte – die mittlere Halbinsel Sithonia ist auf jeden Fall die Sehenswerteste der drei!
