Last year I bought this CO detector, but I tested it out just a few times and did use it at all after that. So finally I got some time to do more deeper review of this carbon monoxide detector. On my video I am just showing how it looks in real life, what comes in the box, functionality of it, is it actually working, by doing real time test with carbon monoxide, opening up this detector and showing you what is inside as well removing speaker and just giving my subjective review of this device, is it good or bad and what improvements they shall make. Overall I dont think it is bad device for $6, but I clearly had some issues with how fast alarms goes off, even if the level of ppm is not dangerous at all. The biggest update I really wish if they would have is that if led display would be always ON if ppm is level si more like 5 so I can constantly monitor the CO level around this detector, what would be really good for me to make sure if the air quality in room is good or bad, but it does not gives continuous readings, only if the alarm goes on :( Specification: Power supply: 3 pcs 1.5V 5 # batteries (not included) Monitor current: less than 35 uA Alarm current: 20mA or so; Alarm concentration: 50 (± 30%) ppm of carbon monoxide gas Low-voltage warning threshold voltage: 3V ± 0.3 V; Environment: Temperature: 0 °C ~ 45 °C, relative humidity: 20% ~ 95% non-condensing; Alarm sound: three meters in front of more than 85 db; Carbon Monoxide Detector Features: When a dangerous level of carbon monoxide is detected the red LED will pulse and a loud alarm pattern will sound.
