JUrtans channel's video: How to replace engine oil on Renault Talisman 1 6 Dci 118 kw R9M Megane Espace

I got a new car (used) so first thing to do, replace the engine oil and filter! So here is a video how to replace Renault Talisman engine oil and engine oil filter. To be honest 1.6 dci engine - R9M, is kind a same like for new Megane and Espace so this might help for those model users as well! You will need special tool to open oil screw - 8 mm square tool, then 10 mm socket wrench and as well 27 mm socket for oil filter. And of course a new engine oil filter And for me I needed approx. 6l of 5W30 engine oil (5.5 is enough as well) This is rather easy work to do if you have means to get under the car! On the internet and in the car internal service menu it says that oil change interval is 30000 km or 12 months, however since it is fully synthetic oil I rather would worry about millage than months and especially since they have set rather long interval 30000 km... I think if you want to keep you engine in good condition you should replace it within 15000 km range, but I am just saying.. R9M engine is same on other Renault models like: Espace, Fluence, Grand Scenic, Kadjar, Koleos, Megane, Scenic, Talisman & Traffic
