The company was founded in 1969 as a Silicon Valley start up and has been focused on producing quality semiconductor products ever since. AMD definitely fell quite a bit just like the rest of the market during the last 2-3 months however within that time it has also bounced very significantly. Using some simple technical analysis skills, one could easily have taken advantage of the huge gains going on in this volatile market. In this video I show how I enter and exit a trade to maximize my profitability while still playing it safe. Some of you may want to know if this stock is actually a good investment for 2020 and time has told that AMD has been very profitable for investors and traders. BUT is it time to be buying more for the future? Well in my opinion I like to be patient and wait and see if the market will continue falling before buying up loads of AMD. This does not mean that I won’t be trading AMD in the meantime as technical analysis is always the same but the fundamentals and overall market conditions may not be. This is why if I am investing for the future I would rather wait for confirmation of a bull run/market or dollar cost average into my positions so I can protect myself from selling at a low and buying at a high! In the end, I believe it's extremely important we understand what truly makes a stock a good buy as it's a perfect combination of technicals and fundamentals.
