Here's a glimpse of a diesel journey undertaken from Mayiladuthurai to Villupuram on board the Evening Passenger in late February, only a couple of days before it switched to electric traction. This journey was made to experience and document the passenger with a diesel locomotive before they get replaced by their electric counterparts.
