Watch a short uninterrupted diesel journey from Coimbatore to Podanur on board 06709 Coimbatore - Palani Passenger Special hauled by Erode WDM3A 11223 in the Summer of 2019. Indian Railways. The six kilometer journey is on the twenty four kilometer long Irugur - Podanur section and the ALCO chugs hard smoking through Ukkadam Lake, the erstwhile Nanjundapuram Bypass and joins the direct line from Irugur just before the River Noyyal.
