Jaggyroad Films's video: Personal Storms

http://www.jaggyroadfilms.com Sometimes we end up in deep dark places, but the reality is only we are generally capable of getting ourselves out from those pits. All of us have been here before, and we know the strong feelings that it brings. The color green, which is the only color in the film, is representative of hope and inspiration, even when everything else is sweeping shades of gray and black. The video footage was shot on July 24, 2012 during a storm that swept through the town of Liberty, North Carolina. While filming I realized there was a metaphorical meaning to what I was witnessing, and just happened to have the perfect song to convey the meaning and emotion. The storm itself was quite bad and knocked out my power several times, but thankfully I keep batteries charged for just such occasions. It's a bit on the moody side, but it is heartfelt and I feel it is good to reflect on our feelings from time to time. The woman singing the song is speaking of forgiveness.
