We salute the Mother who bore, Mother Earth and Mother India. Mother's intinct is not only present in humans but in animals as well and too quite vividly. Dolphins create a whistle like sound to which the calf associates whilst in womb. Once the calf is born, this whistle sound by the mother dolphin is used as a lullaby during the initial years of nurturing her baby besides making the calf practise this sound that becomes the mother - child language. Elephants have the longest pregnancy of all mammals, with an average gestation of about 2 years. Nurturing the baby elephant with 3 gallons on milk everyday, mother elephant pampers her baby away from the herd, in a safer place. A female pig finds a safe secluded place where she digs the ground and fushions with leaves to deliver the piglets and secures them with a boundary made of hay, and twigs. So, irrespective of specie, mother's intinct is naturally present in all the mothers that makes them caring, loving and nurturing.
