HABITS, BEHAVIORS, & BELIEFS
Our Beliefs inform us on how to Behave and are the basis for our Habits. Our Habits, Behaviors, and Beliefs are the foundational areas that affects our relationships, success, & emotions.
• Habits: The Patterns We Repeat
• Behavior: An Individual Action You Decide or Find Yourself Participating in
• Beliefs: The Reasons You Give Yourself to Behave a Certain Way or Respond in a Particular Manner
THE SWISH PATTERN
Think about the Habit Behavior or Belief that is causing you grief, and as you think about this issue, what about this is causing you the most pain? Why is that a problem? As you consider this Belief, Behavior, or Habit, I want you to note the images, sounds, and feelings that are associated with this behavior because we are about to smash those thoughts with a new one.
Imagine a small image of the ideal you that has already solved this problem. Think about the clothes the ideal version of you wears, notice the look on your face when you are a champion and on top of situations, & the sounds of what you hear when you are highly respected and solving the problems that come at you or arise in your life, and as you think about this small version of yourself, I want that image to slowly at first and gradually increasing in size and speed, allow that ideal image of you fly in and smash that old idea of the Habit, Behavior, or Belief that causes you so much heartache. Do it more than once if you need to and make sure that it is vivid, in high definition, and complete. What do I mean by complete?
There can be no trace of that old behavior, belief, or idea that you relate to anymore. You need to have completely alienated your brain from it and embraced the new ideal version of you that has already beaten this little issue. You should feel confident and fully convinced that the change is complete.
ACCEPTING THE CHANGE
Now, how will this change your future? If you no longer struggled with that issue, how would your life improve? As you consider the scenarios and relationships your life and the effect this will have, is there a feeling that you feel? Would feeling this way everyday alter the way you interacted and lived day to day?
Is it ok to accept this new life? If the answer is yes, then congratulations, you have completely accepted the Powerful changes you will experience and the Swish Pattern has been a successful way to help you reach that goal.
