It’s easy to forget how much this song used to hit me as a teen. How every feeling at the time was so heavy. Everything was a first; first heartbreak, first friendship fall out, first time getting bullied. I didn’t know at that age that it would all be alright and that it was just scary because I’d never got through it before. So I wanted to try and channel it in this little stripped back version.
