Hi! Are you all as excited for fall as I am!? Today's video is sharing a super simple and quick way to update some of your old, inexpensive pumpkins! There are SO many ways that you can take cheap, old pumpkins and give them a more modern, quality look! I decided to take these two plastic pumpkins (that were on their way out the door) a new coat of paint and a new vision which included some floral stems and now I'm inspired to see what else I can find and change! I love that these will be able to change and evolve with me through different color schemes of mine over the years and I especially love how CHEAP and EASY these two mini projects were! TIP: When you're unpacking your seasonal bin(s), make 3 different piles of all that you currently have: PILE 1: The pieces that you LOVE (KEEP PILE) PILE 2: The pieces that you LIKE, but don't know if you'll use PILE 3: The pieces that you know you won't want to use anymore (DONATE, GARBAGE or RE-PURPOSE) With PILE 3, try to be creative and envision the piece with a new color (is it paintable? would you like it in a different color) or by adding onto it (adding seasonal fabrics, seasonal floral stems). There's lots of ways to re-purpose what you already have to create something that is new, exciting, modern and something that will match different "seasonal trends". If you have a bunch of items that you already know you don't want, you might as well be brave and get creative with them, right!?
