The plot is about a young companion in Athens during the years of the german occupation and the greek civil war. The story refers to the dreams of the actress Theano Galatis, the publisher of a democratic newspaper Marinos Vellis, the lawyer Thrasybulus Drakos and his wife Marietta, the employee of the Ministry of Education Kyriakos Kostakareas and the revolutionary journalist Leonidas Maleas. Nevertheless, the second world war will change their lives forever. The arrest of Kostakareas will bring together the SS Major Ernst Hillembrand and Theano Galatis. Between them will develop a great love, which will put aside ideological and national differences. The series, in fact, is based on the last years of the life of actress Helen Papadaki.
