Japan Silhouette's video: Kompira San Kagawa

@Kompira San, Kagawa  四国・香川 金比羅さん
Kompira san is a nickname of Kotohira-gu or Kotohira Shrine, Kagawa Prefecture, in Shikoku. The shrine has been revered as a marine god by trading boat merchants, because they can see the hill where the shrine rests from the Inland Sea of Japan, and give a prayer from the ships. Traders went east and west all the time, and their worship of Kompira san became known to people throughout Japan. Since around 200 years ago, it has been very popular to visit Kompira san as a once in a lifetime experience. My channel, Japan Silhouette, features beautiful scenery, traditional culture, Origami arrangement, and the warm heart of the Japanese people. I also visit other countries and record my impression about them, perhaps from a Japanese perspective. My blog is "Japan Silhouette" : http://tomokokamishima.blog.fc2.com
