The annual Azalea Festival (Tsutsuji Maturi/つつじ祭り) in the Nezu Shrine, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo is one of best spring destinations. This festival starts from early April until early May. The Shrine garden with an area of about 6600 sq. metres and is filled with colorful Azaleas all over.
