If you spend much time viewing English YouTube these days, no doubt you have seen and heard big-name influencers doing promo spots for Kamikoto Knives. They all seem to be communicating a message of the high-quality Japanese materials and fine craftsmanship that go into producing Kamikoto knives of exceptional quality. Actually, however, the Kamikoto website (after a long introduction highlighting Japanese metalworking prowess) admits their knives are mostly made in China.
