Japanese Special Egg Scam Scams are everywhere, and scamming is alive and well in Japan as well. Many Japanese scams are the same or similar to scams found in other countries, but recently I came across a Japanese scam that is so bizarre, it is hard to believe that anyone in their right mind would fall for it. The Special Egg Scam was hatched in late 2021 by two guys who convinced investors that that could earn money by buying and eating special eggs. The Special Egg scammers would tell potential investors that they would be able to earn from 25,000 yen ($200) to 1.6 million yen ($11,700) a month if they would pay 13,900 yen (about $100) a month for 90 eggs, and introduce new members into the investment group. According to the police, more than 10,000 have paid into the scheme, but only around 20% have actually received eggs or have received any payment back. - - - - - Please like, comment, and share to help our channel grow!
