news Police in Tokyo have arrested 82-year-old Noritaka Akita on suspicion of molesting a woman in her 30s. Police say that the woman’s mother is an old friend of Akita, and the victim has known him since she was a teen. Akita allegedly served the young woman miso soup laced with sleeping pills, which caused her to pass out after eating it. While the woman was out, Akita removed her clothing and fondled her. Under questioning, Akita claims that the soup was meant for him and that he gave it to the woman by mistake.
