Jared Chan's video: The Science of Psychology 5 Perspectives - Psychology 101 Series: Ep 1

In this video, I go over the science of psychology (5 perspectives including psychodynamic, behaviorist, cognitive psychology, humanistic psychology, and evolutionary psychology) as the first part of the Psychology 101 Series. I thought it would be good to go through a 101 psychology course level of knowledge as a kind of base to build upon. As this channel has focused and will continue to focus on Carl Jung and the psychoanalysts I think it is a good idea to also flesh out some understanding of the field of psychology in general, which includes the psychoanalysts but from a broader perspective that includes the history of psychology up until today. I think this is important for a few reasons but primarily it is my self-appointed task to continue to develop this project that I have called the 'library of the mind' or the 'library of my mind' which basically is a commitment to life long systematic self-learning. I just so happened to choose psychology as my first discipline and the psychoanalysts are my first sub-discipline to study. If that kind of thing interests you then come along for the ride by all means. I may make mistakes here and there and I am looking to always improve and try to make my content better (because I know I can do a lot better and I'm working on improving).
