Jared Chan's video: Jung on Atheism and Christianity

@Jung on Atheism and Christianity
Jung on Atheism and Christianity In light of the debates between Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris I think it would be a good idea to introduce Carl Jung and his ideas surrounding Atheism and Christianity because Jordan Peterson has derived a large part of his ideas from Jung and his work in the field of Psychology. Carl Jung coined a lot of our modern psychological terms such as Extravert (the original spelling) and Introvert. as well as pioneering many ideas such as the Collective Unconscious. One of those ideas, Jung explains, is the idea of the God-Image. Instead of speaking about God in terms of the Objective, Jung sought to talk about God in terms of the Subjective - i.e. in psychological terms. Out of this came the idea of the God-Image, which is to Jung, a kind of psychological organ that evolved across our evolutionary lifespan - hundreds of thousands of years. In this video, I explore how Carl Jung, and his conception of the God-Image, has had an impact on the modern day tug-o-war between Christianity and Atheism. Surprisingly, we are seeing more of a peaceful nature developing between groups, specifically with these two subcultures (namely, Atheism and Christianity), and this has been happening since the rise of Jordan Peterson. You see, Jordan Peterson's message is essentially Jungian and once you understand Jung deeply, you correspondingly understand Jordan very deeply. You noticed I used his first name, that's to humanize him, he's just a psychologist - there is no need to attack him for being that. But sadly, in almost complete contradiction to what I was saying above about peace, the world is becoming increasingly more hostile. There are swings of the pendulum in one direction, while simultaneously on another plane there are swings of the pendulum in the other, this is the reconciliation process of the union of opposites, which is a great mystery to be explored in future videos. If you enjoyed this video, please subscribe as I will be releasing more videos on Carl Jung, Jordan Peterson, and related videos on psychology and personal development. I think my video about Carl Jung is a good supplement to the current debate between Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris as seen in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oVcptMYvQE
