Had the good fortune of being able to fly and film in Steamboat Springs for the 2014 Olympic Ski Team send off Party. The community was very welcoming as I had the run of the mountain most of the day. The Chinese Lanterns were a perfect touch to end such a great day. I love what I do and the opportunities I have in meeting others from all walks of life. It's amazing the friendships and bonds which are formed in such a short period of time. Life is truly spectacular. Camera Settings: I was hoping to shoot with my new Carl Ziess 24mm lens, but time was short and I could not get it to balance on my new gimbal. Had to drop back to the 16mm Sony Lens. I shot in standard mode on the 5R dropping the Contrast to -2 and bumping the Sharpness up 1, left the Saturation at 0. I shot in AP setting F7.1 or F8 when ever possible. Lots of snow and sun during the day taking me as high as 18 and as low as 2.8 into the evening, adjusting ISO with the intent of keeping my shutter speed over 125. I also shot 1080p 60p. Editing: I bumped saturation 20% for, adjusted contrast in shadows, highlights and mid-tones when needed. I used a combination of FPV (first person view) and line of sight on my Quadcopter.
