With over 30 years of experience, this barbershop is run by the sweet and fun female barber Mary. Merida, Mexico 🇲🇽 I walked the huge central market of Mercado San Benito, eating ice cream, drinking fresh juices, until I found this small cute barbershop. The pink walls are full of pictures of Maryln Monroe, Jesus, and various male model hairstyles. She smiled to big and welcomed me so happily to sit in her barber chair. I sat down and asked her for just a shave, but to keep my Mexican mustache. She agreed. She pulled out the straight razor, loaded up the shavette, and gave me one of the closest shaves I have had since I was in Oaxaca. She lathered my face up with so much lotions and creme. Once the shave was don't, she offered to shape up my haircut, which I agreed to. She use the clippers/shaver to buzz my sides and style the top. This was an absolutely fun experience to vlog.
