Here is my last video of 2019! I found this fun backing track to jam over. It has the feel and similar chord progression to the main riff from "Orion" by Metallica. It was recorded by a Youtuber named Steve Stell(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gj1BX9Xn4M) This was done in one take, all improvised. Then I went back and harmonized the beginning to make it sound epic. One of my goals for 2020 is to improve my improvisational skills and learn how to improvise over more complex chord changes. I tried to find a good combination of melodic lines and all out shredding.
