The temple of Seto Machindranath is located in Jana Bahal (also known as Machhindra Bahal). Located between Ason and Indra Chok in central Kathmandu, the temple is believed to have been established around the 10th century. Seto Machindranath is worshipped as an aspect of Avalokiteshvara. Every year, the deity's image is placed in a chariot and paraded around Kathmandu.[1] This festival is known as Jana Baha Dyah Jatra. The deity is bathed and repainted every year as a ritual that symbolizes the changes occurring throughout our lives. Seto Machhendranath Rath Jatra is the taken from its shrine off Asan Tol, Kathmandu, Nepal. As we all know that Asal Tol, located in center of Kathmandu city is the places in a towering chariot. In all, this festival Seto Machhindranath ratha yatra takes four days to complete, the chariot stopping at specific places each night where the image is worshipped and cared for by the inhabitants of that locality.
