Bajrayogini Dance || Dance Video Bajrayogini Temple is a Tantrik temple located at Sankhu in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley. It is also well known as Bodhisattva's Temple. The temple is actually a sort of temple complex, with the main temple having been built by King Pratap Malla in the sixteenth century. Vajrayogini is a Buddhist tantric deity, she is also conflated with Ugra Tara, a form of the Buddhist dharmapala Ekajati. However, the temple is sacred to both Buddhists and Hindus. The Bajrayogini Temple is situated roughly 20 kilometres northeast of Kathmandu. The area where it is located is often referred to as Gunbaha, which can be roughly translated from Newari as ‘recreational forest place’. The main temple is a three-story high building, which was obviously carefully constructed with the utmost attention to detail. You will likely find a statue of the goddess Bajrayogini in this temple which will feature a red face with three eyes as well as hands, which have the thumb and middle finger carefully, decorated. Ornaments surround her statue. Malla dynasty of Nepal want to keep there country in a very strong position always and they do confidence by them self to worship Goddess “Bajrayyogani” for to get the strong power and protected the peoples and the nation. The meaning of Bajra is Thunderbolt and Yogani means Yogi became BAJRAYOGANI. So, Buddhist Tantrick (the devoted of malla period) they were dance with a appearing of Bajrayogani to make happy her in an occasion of festival, gradually this became an ancient classical dance of Nepal, which is based on Tantric Buddhism. The Bajrayogini dance depicts a blend of emotion, which contract with each other. The dancer experience movements of peace and moments of anger, which again alternates with feeling of joy, sorrow, defense and aggression. Still the Temple of Goddess Bajrayogini is situated about 3 Km from Kathmandu valley. Once up on a time of Kathmandu was ruling by Malla dynasty long time ago. Malla dainsty want to keep there country in a very strong position always and they do confidence by them self to worship Goddess “Bajrayyogani” for to get the strong power and protected the peoples and the nation.
