Jayson Hanes's video: Everglades Challenge 2017 Fort De Soto Florida

My 3rd year in a row attending and capturing this beach. So here they all were at just before 7 am on 4-MAR-2017-- in about 50F weather with 25 mph winds (gusting higher..).. and no further did they go. The Coast Guard issued a Small Water craft advisory due to 3 foot seas.. so the racers hopes to launch got scuttled. However, they finally launched from various places the next morning (sorry, I didn't attend). One boat actually decided they were going to launch anyway (as they presumably forfeited the race in doing so) --- one of the crew yelled "Freeeeeedommmmm" (a la Braveheart/William Wallace style) as they went on their way...
