His incredible creative talents and musical compositional depth allows the listener to have their own Vincent Van Gogh “epiphany moment” of perceiving the grandeur of the cosmos, its rich beauty and our connection to it. Van Gogh’s painting Starry Night is one of the most recognized pieces of art in the world. That it resonates with so many people is a testament to how its beauty is timeless and universal. One of the biggest points of interest about this painting is that it came entirely from Van Gogh’s imagination. None of the scenery matches the area surrounding Saint-Paul or the view from his window, which was a remarkable break from his other work. Seeing and understanding the feel and vision of this piece, sound engineer Michael Greene created a one-of-a-kind studio set up just to record this song. As witness by the gold on his studio wall, he is one of the great sound engineers of our time.
