In my 25 years, there have been a lot of friendships. Some that ended because I was trans. Some that ended because life happens. And some that ended, but have been rekindled later on. Also, I feel like I should also say that I don't actively engage with people I went to high school with often. Part of that is because I can sometimes operate under the assumption that they aren't supportive of my trans identity, but there have definitely been people who have surprised me (on both sides). To protect myself, I often assume until they prove otherwise. Another thing! I mentioned that I was raised Lutheran. Currently, I don't really see myself as very religious. If I had to classify as anything though, it's probably agnostic, but I don't know. Just wanted to clarify that. Feel free to leave your own thoughts in the comments! Until Monday! Same time.
