Plantation Florida 9:30 pm Oct 18.. Plantation is the far west side of Fort Lauderdale and the tornado struck about a half mile south of the sawgrass mall and across the street from Ikea. It started just north of 595 and moved north to the mall but seemed to skip over it. Notice that the free chdk (cannon hacked development kit) allows my camera to zoom in and out on video among other things that a normal s-95 cannot...This tornado is documented basically for locals and my own reference.. Nobody was hurt...
