Part 5- Moses Approved Everyday Sabbath-- A conversation of Facebook uncovers new insight into common errors that Christians believe and led to a series of videos. 1. Christians teach you can't keep the law in your own strength despite Christ teaching the secret to keeping the whole law is to do it "with all your strength." 2. Christians teach you can't be righteous without the death of Christ but also teach Abraham was righteous thousands of years before Jesus. 3. Christians teach you need the Holy Spirit to live righteously but Christ said "keep my commandments" and then you will receive the Holy Spirit. 4. The law and Christ both command you to do something Christians say you can never do. "Love God with all your strength" and "love your neighbor as Jesus loved." 5. The new covenant incorporates the law of the old covenant the way Moses' law incorporated the law of the Abramic covenant. 6. Moses' law contains no commandment requiring the Gentiles Paul ministered unto to be circumcised, nor did he prohibit Jews from eating with Gentiles who are uncircumcised. When Paul condemned that law he was condemning Rabbinical tradition. 7. The Sabbath day is a forerunner of the rest of Christ. He that enters Christ rest keeps Sabbath every day and Moses permitted this by granting that the other 6 days were yours to do with as you will. This allows us to give the other 6 days unto God the Father and cease from our own labors every day. 8. Christians erroneously preach that Christ instituted new law in the new covenant and changed the Mosaic law (making it more strict). Keep checking back for more installments to this series.
