Testing further extensions of the electrification on the upper level tracks of my OO layout, Newton Broadway. This now leaves only the storage loops to be wired, plus the frog polarity on the points leading into the yards at the right. Test trains today were a Realtrack Models First Great Western class 143, 143 618, and two Bachmann South West Trains class 450s, 450 084 and 450 107 (converted from class 350/1 units) using Electra Railway Graphics vinyl overlays. Both have legomanbiffo sound fitted. I have been experimenting with some Hornby Scharfenberg couplings between the units, but they are a fraction tight and caused the leading bogie of one unit to derail.
