Jen.'s video: Did you know Indian Summer TCVC2

Okay. So i've been wanting to do something different for this contest since the day we got the results for the audition round. For the first round of the contest, we had to make a video about season(s). My first idea was to pick 3 random facts about the 4th seasons and to make a general video based on that. And then... life got in the way. And i was feeling inspired on the paper, but i had NO idea how to vid this kind of thing. And then, i got some job interviews, and life got in a the way even moooore. And i seriously considered dropping out because i thought i would NEVER EVER make it on time. And then, friday, i got a job offer -YAY ME XDDD- and a FREE weekend. And i had just heard this song over a week ago on HTGAWM and i had loved it. And wow : the song was called indian SUMMER. hahaha. must be a sign right ? So here it is. I picked summer because of the song. And because this a season i love very much. And then i picked some random facts about summer that are very special to me and here we go. - i chose the celebration of father's day because i've always had a special link with my father, and every year on this particular day, i wake up early and i make him croissants and it's OUR thing and i cherish it so much. - i chose summer destination because i never got to go to any of theses place for summer. When i was little, i spent all my summer vacations in horse riding summer camp and i don't regret any of it. :p - i chose the olympic games because i LOVE it. Every four years, the TV is on 24/24 in my house when the olympic games are on. And it's such an inspiring competition and it's better than any TV show. I've cried and laughed and screamed watching this. It's my guilty pleasure and i'm very proud of it XD - i chose last year summer because i remember it being so hot. And indeed it was the hottest ever xD. I started training for the half marathon during this summer and this was hell. - i chose music festival because i love them so much. i've been to the one in reading and OMG it was awesome. i've also been to some of the french ones over the years and it has always been such an amazing experience for me. - I chose the flower theme because i studied biology for 2 years and i've always loved most the botanic part of the lessons. So i wanted to illustrate this. - and finally i chose MLK speech because i remember the first time i heard it. I memorized it that time. And it's a such a powerful and inspiring speech and i could go on all day about this speech but i really think it speaks for itself to i'm gonna shut up. This video is very different than anything i've done until now. I wanna thank this contest. Because i tried a hundred of different things with this. And it made me learn so many new functionalities of SV. This is about creativity. i hope i was creative enough ? In any case, I HAD A BLAST EDITING THIS. And it's all that matters to me.
