As creatives, we often hear radio silence more than “no.” The voice we develop for ourselves is crucial to a long lasting career or pursuit of anything that we care about. When we own our inherent worth, there isn’t much that can stop you from living your truth. These are just a few clips from auditions I taped in 2023. The strike made us all pause but I’m thankful to say I still had a good year that came with lots of surprises. My other work continued on (@todayworthy & social marketing) & the opportunity to travel to new places came about — Iike my first trip to Tokyo. Everything in my past has brought me to this moment. My grit prepares me for the slow downs, but my work ethic keeps me ready for the work. I’ve found that more often than not, others saying “yes” really follows my initial instinct to say “yes” to myself first.
