DEARALYNE Scholarship Application Hi Alyne, I’m Lea, I'm french and I'm living in a really small village in South Korea called Sunchang. I’m calling myself a HAPPY SMILING content creator , because I always want to smile and spread happiness when I record new videos. I’ve been doing videos in english, french and Korean for this last 3 years and My dream is to promote all the off-beaten track destinations, small villages and islands in Korea. Why ? Because I want to help local communities to get the recognition they deserve, and with a better media coverage, help them to show their worth and preserve their unique heritage. I want to positively influence people to discover more than just K-pop or Seoul city, but fall in love with Korean culture and it's people , like I did. Why choosing me to another person ? Because I never gave-up on my dream ! My moto is : Make your life a dream and a dream a reality. Since i was 15, i started working on my dream, saving money to pay my flight, my insurance... I learnt english so i could study tourism and learn more about Korean history. I don’t come from a rich family, and I saved every single pennies to follow my passion and build my future. I studied my whole Bachelor degree online and was able to graduate as a valedictorian of my university. Ultimately i found an internship in South Korea and finally was able to move here to live my dream in the country I loved so much. I want to give back all the love and support I got from Korean local people when I moved here. I want to help them protect their land and keep their traditions. I know that participating to your retreat would be the best gift i could get to myself to reach my next level. This year, I want to invest time and energy in becoming a better version of myself. I really want to learn how to create useful, meaningful and impactful videos that can make people smile and be Curious. This Scholarship will be a life changing experience, surrounding myself by inspirational people and helping each other reaching our goals. I'm so committed that i will be ready to take my only days of annual leave in order to come to your retreat ! I'm young but determined to succeed so I hope i can become a part of your new crew ♡ MERRY CHRISTMAS, Happy New Year !
