SEE THE FILM: https://vimeo.com/176232742 This is a 20-minute documentary covering the 48 Hour Film Project weekend in July 2016; It’s what my team, Gate 13 & Company experienced while making our movie, Buried Love. This video has been LONG in the making. Too long, in fact. Putting this together was a process filled with multiple starts and stops, lost footage, depression and anxiety, and quite possibly the WORST case of procrastination I’ve ever had. Despite all of that, I feel proud of this video. There are definitely things I could improve upon, all of which will be taken into account on whatever I make next. Working on this video has taught me the importance of MOMENTUM in creative projects. It’s so easy to stop consistently working, then completely lose all motivation to make progress. You have to keep MOVING. You HAVE to. I hope that my team (and other people) will enjoy this video, and I hope that Gate 13 will have me back again for another 48 HFP later this year. Because I love making these, and I would like to continue making them. And I promise, future videos will NOT take nearly as long as this one did. Enjoy!
