Jeru Luke's video: Holy Land Tour - Day 8

On the eighth day we crossed over from the Asian region of Egypt in to the African region of Egypt. We visited the presumed site of the Golden Calf, made by Aaron, when Moses went up into Mount Sinai and had not returned for days. Near the site was the tomb of Aaron. Along the way we stopped by the Maara (springs) where it was believed Moses hit the rocks to get fresh water. Later on we crossed into the Egyptian mainland by the Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel under the Suez Canal. It was a little over a kilometre long. Late in the afternoon we took the famous 24th of October bridge and headed to the Cairo Museum. We then visited Virgin Mary's Church, which also houses the Bible found floating on the river Nile. It is also belived that Mary and baby Jesus crossed the river Nile to reach the banks of Cairo, after being warned in a dream to leave Bethlehem.
