Jess K's video: TO Klaroline Fan Reactions to S05E13 The Series Finale

Hope you enjoy :) Intro song - Nick Mulvey - Mountain To Move My thoughts on the finale are kind of all over the place, so prepare for a rant. To start lets not spread hate in the comments. My video is meant to be funny and not taken too seriously. My personal reaction to the finale was just kind of numbness I had heard so many spoilers for the finale that I knew literally everything that was going to happen. The kiss wasn’t a happy moment for me. It was just tragic. Of course as a Klaroliner I am heartbroken. After all these years of waiting having them never get together is just horrible. I mean I like that Caroline was his last love but did he really have to die? I will just tell myself that he came back and Caroline and him are in Paris right now. Fan Fiction will help with that. Then again it was not that long ago that I thought they would never be on screen together again and that even a mention of each other would be the best we could hope for and this season we got far more than that. Although having endgame so close and yet so far is particularly hard to handle. This ending is just so silly to me. There are countless ways for them to have gotten out of this. They could have put the Hollow in Aurora and left it there. They could have put the hollow in anyone else and then killed him or her. Klaus could have jumped into another body like Klaus did last time he was staked with a white oak stake, and then jumped back into his body like last time. Either that or stayed in another body. Sure it would have been weird for Klaus to not be Joseph Morgan but he wouldn’t be dead. Also they needed an after life scene. We never got Elijah dancing with Hayley. I would have of course hated Klaus and Cami getting back together but they could have had a scene similar to Hayley’s of him watching over Hope. Shows can have tragic endings but then bring it back in the end. I can think of heaps of shows that were able to kill a main character in the finale but it left you satisfied and at peace with the show. We all know that this ending happened because of Legacies. They needed to explain why Klaus wouldn’t be around (him being in another body could have fixed that). Yet they are going to explain why Caroline isn’t around without killing her (hopefully). Legacies’ concept is doomed to fail in my mind. In interviews they keep talking about returning to TVD season one kind of era and that it’s a younger show. Problem is the TVD universe fandom has aged nine years since then. Even if they find a new audience getting rid of the current audience seems like a risky move. Klaroline is not dead in my mind. New fan fiction, fan art, videos etc are being created every day.
